Your character performances are today and tomorrow, I am handing out the rubic. Put your name and character on yours. When you are called, please give it to me. I will take volunteers first.
1. You have a choice of either to sit our stand.
2. Let me emphasize that your character is in front of the class, not you.
3. Your character has something to communicate.
4. Follow the punctuation.
5.Speak slowly and articuate each word.
6. Make eye contact.
7. Your voice must reach clearly to the back of the classroom.
8.Make sure you know the meaning of every word in your poem and that you will not stumble over its pronunciation.
9. Do not drop your voice on the last sentence. These are what you will be remembered for from beyond the grave.
